During the Indoor Season, practices will generally be inside unless the weather is warm.

This year our Indoor team will be much smaller than last year.  Due to the demand for our programs, some slots will be available on a first come, first serve basis.  The remaining spots will be available on a try-out/waitlist basis.  The coaches are working on securing additional space so we can add some additional roster spots.

The cost of the Indoor program will be $389.  For the Indoor season, due to COVID, we will not be selling fundraising cards this year.  We are offering a payment plan, which is below.  Additional payment options can be made on a case by case basis.

              Now: $89

              Nov 14th :$100

              Dec 15th: $100

              Jan 1 5th : $100

Indoor Youth Program (Winter Only)–  Grades 2 - 8.

This year we will have 2 youth teams.

Club (Recreation) – for athletes that are new to track and have not qualified for a National Track Qualification.  At this time, we are not sure if there will be any beginner track meets due to COVID.  We do plan to participate in meets if there are Beginner meets available

We plan to start the season the week of Dec 7th and will finish at the end of February.  For our Youth Club team, we plan to schedule each group for at least 2 weekday practices and some weekend practice.  We plan to hold practices Monday through Friday and Saturdays.   We are going to need to ask families to be flexible.  Our plan is to assign each team a regular practice schedule, but may need to alter it based on facility availability.  It is possible that during the season we may need to rework the practice schedule.

Elite (Travel) - for the youth athlete that is competing on a higher level and requires a strong commitment to track.  This team is by invitation only.  The Coaches will continue to evaluate athletes throughout the season for the team and new athletes performing at a higher level will be given the opportunity to train with the Elite team.

The Elite team usually has the opportunity to participate in local, regional and National meets.  For the 2021 Indoor Season, it is our intention to participate in some meets but may be adjusted due to COVID restrictions and meet availability.  At this time, we are optimistic that there will be some meets in the Indoor Season.  There are a number of meets in the works, including the AAU Indoor National Championship in Virginia Beach.

We plan to start the season the week of Dec 7th and will finish at the end of February.  Athletes selected to participate in the National Championship will continue through mid-March.  We plan to schedule each group for at least 2 weekday practices and a weekend practice (on non-meet weekends).  If space exists, we will add additional practices. We plan to hold practices Monday through Friday and Saturdays.   We are going to need to ask families to be flexible.  Our plan is to assign each team a regular practice schedule, but may need to alter it based on facility availability.  It is possible that during the season we may need to rework the practice schedule.

Indoor High School Program (Winter Only)– for High School athletes (grades 9-12)

The High School team usually has the opportunity to participate in local, regional and National meets.

For our High School and Elite team, we plan to schedule each group for at least 2 weekday practices and a weekend practice (on non-meet weekends).

At this time, we have secured practice space at Steuart Weller Elementary School and Dulles Sportsplex, and are still looking to add additional facilities.  Dulles Sportsplex has added additional COVID related procedures.  One of these measures requires all athletes to scan in so they can keep a record of all participants.  Parents will need to sign an online waiver with Dulles Sportsplex and purchase a membership for each of their athletes.  The cost of the membership is $20 for 90 days or $5 per day.  The team is not permitted to do this for parents.

This year we will have at least 2 teams.  We may add a JV High School Team for 9/10th graders and competitive 7/8 graders.

High School Team(Travel): designed to allow the High School athlete the opportunity to improve on their primary events and prepare for their High School Outdoor season.

High School Elite Team (Travel): This team will be small and limited to athletes performing at a very high level.  Coaches will select athletes for this team.
