The NVA Track Program will begin our 11th season and we are looking forward to maintaining our tradition of success and athletic achievement.
Our goal as a club is to improve our kids running abilities with good fundamental skills and technique, as well as giving them a sense of hard work, dedication, discipline and responsibility. We treat each child individually in regard to how they need to be motivated or supported and all of our kids learn how to run well and greatly improve their abilities and confidence. Lastly, we want to ensure the kids learn and appreciate the rules and regulations of Track & Field and introduce them to new aspects of track, such as Field Events.
In our Program, all athletes will learn proper running techniques and mechanics to improve their running efficiency and thus their overall athletic performance. Our athletes train and participate in short, mid and long-distance events, hurdles, relays and all field events (Indoor field events include Long/Triple Jump, High Jump & Shot Put). Last year we had at least one athlete medal at Nationals in each of the above events.
New in 2021
NVA track now has its own facility – NVA/Sport9 Performance Training Center in Ashburn. This facility is over 6000 sq feet and will have 2 lanes of track, turf area, High Jump pit & a weight area.
Hurdle and High/Long jump training will be in our new facility.
Older athletes will have the opportunity to weightlift with Track & Strength coaches
Additional equipment has been purchased such as resistance bands, new blocks, rollers, boxes, etc.
All Sprint programs will train at this new facility.
Guidance is constantly changing regarding COVID. NVA Track is committed to the safety of our athletes, families and coaches and are taking precautions based on local/state/federal guidance. Due to continuing evolution of the COVID virus, it may be necessary to make adjustments to our program.

Athletes are grouped by age and ability.
Fall High School Track Program – Rising Grades 9-12NVA Track’s program is designed to allow the High School athlete the opportunity to improve on their primary events. Athletes will master proper sprinting techniques & mechanics and improve their ability to recruit fast-twitch muscle fiber for dramatic improvements in their ability to accelerate. Athletes will have the opportunity to train with experienced USATF Certified coaches. Our dedicated High School program allows High School athletes the opportunity to train with other top High School athletes.

Athletes train with NVA's USATF certified coaches in Long Jump and High Jump. Practice will be held at our Indoor Facility at 21750 Red Rum #177, Ashburn. The cost of this program is $129. The Fall Program will start on September 26th and end on November 7th
Youth (Grades 3- 8)
Sundays - 10:00am - 11:15
High School (Grades 9 - 12)– athletes have the option to come to either the High Jump or Long Jump or both.
Advanced High Jump -Practices will generally be on Saturdays from 12 - 1pm. We may need to change the practice days due to coaches availability.

2021 AAU Outdoor National Championship Recap
2021 AAU Outdoor National Championship
48 NVA athletes participated in the 2021 AAU Outdoor National Championship in Florida and brought home 44 medals. Over 300 teams from the across the United States and some International team competed in the weeklong event.
As a Team we were ranked:
# 8 in the Nation
# 1 in Virginia
# 1 in the DMV
The 13 yr old Girls and 15-16 yr old Boys both placed 2nd in their age group. The 15 – 16 yr Girls placed 6th in their age group.

Get an early start. This program is designed for the serious athlete who wishes to significantly improve their athletic competence and is considered supplemental training to the normal Track and Field seasons training and conditioning.
